KK perforated ceramic ball, it is a kind of newly developed product on the basis of the inert alumina by our company. The holes are opened through the axle center, which is on the direction of the spherical diameter. There is not only the certain mechanical strength, chemical and thermal stability, but also it improves the specific surface areas and the void volume, so, the dispersing property and the flux of the materials are increased, at the same time, the system resistance is reduced too. It can be utilized to replace the inert alumina ball as the covering or supporting material in such fields as: the petroleum, chemical industry, and natural gas etc.

For this product, the national patent was gained in 1995, the provincial first award of excellent new product and the provincial outstanding prize of patent product were also achieved in 1996 and 1997 respectively. Since KK perforated ceramic ball entered the market, the product had gained much attention and favorable comment. The utilizing situations from customers showed that: for KK perforated ceramic ball, compared with the former covering or supporting material, the distribution of gas or liquid was much more uniform, the flow was obviously increased, and the system resistance was clearly reduced. in the same reactor or reactive furnace and within the identical operational conditions. Furthermore, the catalyst did not lump and agglutinate, so, it could efficiently prolong the lifetime of catalyst.
